OUR MISSION

1. To promote the preservation of buildings and properties of historic value and importance in Kent County, Delaware.

2. To foster the preservation and restoration of documents and memorabilia of historical, biographical, or genealogical significance and to foster research in these areas.

3. To encourage the beautification of Dover by recognition and sponsorship of houses, buildings, gardens, and garden tours.

4. To educate the community and encourage public interest and involvement with Dover's historical heritage by means of Old Dover Days programs, and other tours, celebrations, memorial observations, and educational programs as appropriate.Support and encourage development and presentation of educational programming, including programs and events, building tours, and lectures in and around the sites of the First State Heritage Park.
